20 killed, injured in building collapse in Syria's Aleppo

The building collapsed in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in the city of Aleppo, SANA reported.

A child was among those killed in the incident, according to the reports.

The incident was caused by water infiltration into the building's pillars and weakening them.

Rescue operations are ongoing around the scene of the incident.
